“Most paintings done for a collection showing are inspired by a horse or rider. I’ll watch and sketch ringside, while they train or show. This painting, in particular, was inspired by Lars Petersen. I used a few techniques not previously tried on any other paintings. It makes this piece truly one-of-a-kind, much like the rider.”

“Crescendo” is a very large wall installation acrylic painting at 4 ft by 5 ft on museum wrapped canvas. It was one of the featured paintings of the collection presented by Dressage Today and Practical Horseman art show in Wellington this year.
